SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative insures Glendinning customers receive the best service possible through the processing of orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other departments as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Customer Service related responsibilities and tasks.
• Greets callers on telephone in a friendly, professional, positive, and helpful manner.
• Routes incoming telephone calls/messages as required.
• Operates central office telephone system.
• Routes all incoming faxes and general email inquiries.
• Greets visitors in-person in a friendly, professional, positive, and helpful manner.
• Processes new sales orders (order entry).
• Modifies sales orders.
• Generates sales orders (prepares/prints pink order sheets including all incoming Weborders and RMA’s).
• Distributes pink sales orders (walks them out to each department).
• Data entry regarding new orders, accounts, etc.
• Provides appropriate product or service information to current and potential Customers.
• Reviews contracts and purchase orders to assure 100% compliance to meet Company standards and Customer needs.
• Must be able to learn new duties and meet changing conditions quickly and adjust to them with little difficulty.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
