First Shift, Resident Assistant Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Resident Assistant provides general assistance to all residents and provides personal care to residents as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed on Point of Care (POC), including assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, breakfast prep, transfers, bedtime assistance, and self-administration of medications.
- Document tasks provided on POC.
- Assist Dining Services in serving food and drinks in dining area and delivering meal trays to resident apartments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Willingness to cross-train and assist where needed.
- The employee is required to maintain all HIPAA information in confidentiality.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand information and directions in English.
- Must be able to use PointClickCare on iPad.
Education/Experience:
- Experience in personal care.
- STNA certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must exhibit clean and neat personal appearance.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
