The Job

· responsible for the daily pre-cleaning, cleaning, and sanitizing of the facility and production equipment after use, following established SOP’s.

· Disassemble, clean, and sanitize all functions ensuring that the facility and equipment is cleaned and sanitized in a safe manner, following written SOP’s, to ensure a food safe production environment.

· Annual trainings on chemical safety and S.S.O. Ps.

· Communicates with Supervisor on all equipment or building deviations noted during sanitation.

Skills Required

• Prior food manufacturing sanitation experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability work with hands and to lift to 50lbs very repetitively.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices a plus
• Ability to understand chemical applications of cleaning and sanitation chemicals.
• Mechanical ability and familiar with tool use for equipment disassembly and reassembly.
