Orlando Magic is Hiring a Client Services and Premium Services Graduate Associate Near Orlando, FL

This position will start on 7/15/24 and run through 6/27/25.

A quick summary about the Client Services and Premium Services Graduate Associate role:

The Client Services and Premium Services Graduate Associate is responsible for supporting the diverse needs of both departments, focused on delivering legendary service and retention to season ticket holders and premium partners through annual touch points, communication, events, benefits and unique opportunities.

What the Client Services and Premium Services Graduate Associate will be responsible for:

  • Supports operations of the Client Services and Premium departments, specifically renewal and retention efforts for Orlando Magic Loyal Blue members and Premium Partners.
  • Prepares necessary items for Client Service Specialist’s and Premium Managers meetings with clients, including but not limited to season recap presentations, gift bags and/or personalized “wow” moments.
  • Assists Direct Report and team with: 
    • Event planning and execution, including tracking RSVP’s through CRM, organizing invite lists and communication to client services specialists and Premium Managers anticipated client attendance.
    • Maintaining tracking document for all events, including number of invites, target demographic invited, actual attended and other event details.
    • Allocation among departments and fulfillment of legendary moments for season ticket holders and premium partners.
    • Game night execution of elements impacting season ticket holders and premium partners, such as legendary moment execution, event set-up and/or registration and post-game opportunities.
    • Fulfillment elements for player ticket programs.
    • Collaborate with the Digital Strategy and Creative Services team by submitting project requests through WorkZone that provide content and direction of such project.
  • Assist in on-boarding execution for new Loyal Blue members, Premium partners and ICON members.
  • Monitor the Premium Services inbox and phone line, distributing messages to the appropriate full-time staff as needed.
  • During peak times, in conjunction with Client Services and Premium staff, supports reactive service and retention efforts for season ticket holders and premium clients.
  • Assist with game night support and set up.
  • Organizes prizes and develops plan for season ticket holder “lanyard giveaways”
  • Provide content and distribution lists to the Digital Strategy team for season ticket holder and Premium eNews
  • Input information into season ticket holder profiles captured during out of office appointments and events
  • Deliver benefits, amenities and service that exceed expectations
  • Demonstrate solid communication skills when serving as a staff touchpoint to any internal Orlando Magic department, Arena Operations, Box Office and Security
  • Contribute to the common goals of the department and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills
  • Other duties as assigned

What the Client Services and Premium Services Graduate Associate needs to have:

  • Recent college graduates (up to 24 months) required.
  • Degree in marketing and/or sports management preferred.
  • 1-2 years of marketing or sports management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related computer skills required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and support multiple high level executive positions.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

Relocation Information:

    • Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Associate (Please note that while we have a hybrid work model, this does require you to live and work out of the Orlando, Florida area.)
    • Reliable transportation is also needed

Working Hours:

    • Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
    • Based on role determines in office and remote working by the manager
    • Most Associates work all game nights (44 home games playoffs and finals) including weekends and holidays
