About the Company & Opportunity - Senior Accountant

• This role is a hybrid position and will be reporting directly into the Accounting Director

Overview of the Role - Senior Accountant

• The Senior Accountant will be focusing on all month-end close activities and working heavily on the general ledger
• Prepare the monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for the General Ledger
• Maintain bank balance for the banks while assisting with the monthly close task
• Work on annual audits
• Additional responsibilities as provided by the Accounting Director

Preferred Qualifications - Senior Accountant

• BA in accounting, finance, or a similar degree
• 3 years of accounting experience working on month end close
• Experience at a law firm is a plus, however they are open to candidates from any type of industry

• Experience working on an ERP/Accounting system such as SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, Dynamics, Sage, Yardi, MRI or similar packages; Strong Excel experience
