Responsibilities:
• Review Work Instructions for accuracy to customer requirements and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively during daily interactions with the engineers and users to interpret their needs and requirements.
• Interpret blueprint, drawings, and customer specifications to meet customer, industry specifications and company requirements.
• Provide needed assistance and technical support to the manufacturing departments.
• Tracks and communicates opportunities for continuous improvement to the work instruction application.
• Assists with the Engineering planning process.
• Provides approval recommendations to the Onboarding Engineering Team.
• Identify and develop, as required, visual aids, tooling (i.e. drill jigs, assembly shop aids, masking guides, etc.), and supporting documents for inspection use, assembly use, and manufacturing use as required for part production or product acceptance.
Qualifications:
• Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience: 2 years’ experience in technical writing documentation review; aerospace industry preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of Manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCad, CATIA or Siemens NX.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products; Excel Word and PowerPoint.
• Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly.
• Successful experience in the ability to read, analyze, and follow work instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment
