Body Shop TechnicianLocation : Piedmont SC (20 minutes from Greenville SC)Compensation : $25-$34 based on experienceBenefits : Company paid medical.
Optional accidental, life, dental and disability & 401k. Paid vacation, uniforms, and training. Shift : Monday Friday 8-5 with 4 day work week optional Position Description : Bodyshop technician will perform auto body and framework repairs to industrial type vehicles.
Company specializes in emergency service vehicles as well as delivery trucks, field services vehicles and school buses. Responsibilities :
- Prior to starting a job, thoroughly review each repair order to fully understand the scope of the work to be done. If further clarity is needed or a supplement is required, speak directly with estimator.
- Proforma an initial teardown of vehicle.
- Ensure you have the correct parts from the parts department to complete the job.
- Identify parts for cut-in and design.
- Follow company procedures in application of under-coating, corrosion protection, seam sealer, weld through primer and lubricants.
- Re-assemble pained vehicle and painted parts. Requirements
- 3 years in auto body repair
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Very detail oriented
- Able to work on a team
