Orion Solutions is Hiring an OFFICE MANAGER AND ENTRY-LEVEL ACCOUNTANT Near Alpharetta, GA

We are seeking a highly organized and versatile professional to fill the role of an Office Manager and Entry-Level Accountant. In this dual-role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office while also assisting with basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Office Management

  • Administrative Duties: Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and coordinating appointments and meetings.
  • Supplies and Equipment: Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory. Order new supplies as needed to ensure the office is well-stocked.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the office space, including liaising with vendors and service providers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and organize important documents, contracts, and records in both physical and digital formats.
  • Scheduling: Manage office schedules, calendars, and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Office Communication: Facilitate communication between team members and ensure information flow within the office is smooth and effective.

Accounting

  • Data Entry: Assist with basic accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and recording financial transactions.
  • Expense Tracking: Maintain accurate records of expenses and assist in the preparation of expense reports.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate basic financial reports and summaries as needed, providing support for senior accountants or financial analysts.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in an administrative or office management role is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and accounting software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, Peachtree).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and personnel information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
