Orion Lending is Hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant Near Charlotte, NC

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Assistant, like a skilled navigator guiding a spacecraft through the cosmos, is responsible for charting the course of Orion Lending's digital strategy and operations. Working under limited direction, they embark on a journey through the vast expanse of cyberspace, maneuvering through the digital realm with finesse and precision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and publish engaging content for various social media platforms, including copy, graphics and videos, aligned with the company's brand voice and goals.
  • Post, repost, backlink to corporate and executive leadership social accounts regularly including a mix of influencer driven content created by you.
  • Collaborating with teams across marketing including design and video to develop innovative social creative that is optimized for social distribution.
  • Make analytical decisions and provide weekly in-depth analytical reports and suggestions for enhancement.
    • Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize performance.
    • Use data analytics software tools like Google Analytics and Adriel to understand the various social media reporting platforms to understand how web traffic is being generated and identify the best opportunities to advance business goals like generating brand awareness or increasing conversions.
    • Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports.
  • Monitor all social media content and accounts – ensuring there is always a fresh look. Additionally, responsible for the following month over month growth:
    • LinkedIn
    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • TikTok
    • YouTube
    • Facebook
    • Threads
  • Continually add efficiency and organization to the logistics and management of social media properties managed by the department including maintaining detailed and organized publishing via Hootsuite.
  • Build and grow social followings through daily community management - actively engage and respond to followers and implement tactics to encourage social conversation(re-shares, tagging, geo-tagging, etc.)
  • Monitor, moderate and respond to comments and messages from the social media audiences, building trust and loyalty with potential and existing customers and partners.
  • Conduct regular Social Contests and Takeovers to gain followers organically.
  • Provide social media education and consultation to the sales field, helping them to leverage social media platforms and tools to grow their business and reach new audiences.
    • Conduct One on One Social Media Consultations
    • Create Custom Social Media Strategy Proposal for each Sales Team Member
    • Administer Live Social Media Trainings including regular Onboarding Presentations and monthly Trending Topics Training
    • Create Internal Educational Content as Needed
  • Online Reputation Management – managing platforms, responding to comments and devising strategies internally and externally to increase positive recognition on all platforms.

Act as a Social Compliance Officer of Sales
  • - including social media audits, actively manually monitoring the sales team social activity and review all social media post requests point in time.
  • Manage and develop online reputation management and local search with innovative approaches for better visibility.
  • Research and identify social media trends, best practices and emerging platforms, staying ahead of the curve and adapting to the changing landscape by attending training events and gaining certifications regularly.
  • Oversee and work with social influencers in the sales field, providing guidance, support and recognition for their efforts.
  • Run paid ad’s on Meta Business Suite, Google and Reddit - may include other digital paid ads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital marketing or equivalent training.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization, preferably in the mortgage or financial industry.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing, photo-video editing and visual skills.
  • Capable of performing on-camera tasks, such as hosting social media videos or serving as a spokesperson for the company in social media content.
  • SEO Experience – (a plus)
  • Influencer – (a plus)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Hearsay, Buffer or similar.
  • Proficient in using photo and video editing applications such as CapCut, Canva or similar.
  • Proficient in Google Ads.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and metrics, as well as SEO and web optimization techniques.
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns and managing an advertising budget strongly preferred.
  • Passionate about social media and staying updated on the latest trends and developments.
  • Manage multiple video channels and platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, live events, and educational formats.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.


Physical and Work Conditions

Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employee must be open to work overtime to the requirements of the role.
