Orion project Services and our largest US client are in immediate need of a QC Chemist in Cincinnati, OH! We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control/analytical, industrial laboratory setting, and be familiar with CGMP and GLP standards. As a QC Chemist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory procedures.

QC Chemist Responsibilities:

• Individuals will be responsible for perform routine tests of finished product and stability samples including dissolution, assays, chromatographic purity and content uniformity.
• Operates analytical instruments such as High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ultra Violet visible spectroscopy (UV/Vis), and dissolution apparatus.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation (including electronic note book).
• Analyze data and report results in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory working environment.
• Follow all SOPs and Safety Guidelines to ensure compliance with a cGMP environment.

Education and Experience needed to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related scientific field.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in pharmaceutical analysis.
• Experience with dissolution testing
• Analytical lab experience using HPLC, Empower data acquisition and LIMS.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
