Position Description
The Compensation and Benefits Program Manager position reports to the Director of Talent Programs and is responsible to oversee the research, design, development, implementation, and support comprehensive employee compensation and benefit programs, ensuring alignment with business' objectives, overall organization core values and balancing market conditions, internal equity, and long- term vision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitors and analyzes trending information, economic and wage projections to ensure the organization`s compensation and benefit objectives and competitive market position are responsive to business needs.
  • Researches and advises business on prevailing wage requirements. Ensures compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act.
  • Develops and implements procedures and guidelines to ensure compensation and benefit programs are internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Establishes and maintains company job architecture to ensure consistent job levels, job titles, and job descriptions.
  • Designs and maintains salary, bonus, and other reward structures aligned to company compensation philosophy and market competitiveness.
  • Monitors and understands the competitive landscape with respect to compensation and benefit practices and advises leadership. Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to address key issues.
  • Manages the annual salary and incentive planning process for employees; ensure accuracy, optimum level of automation, and teamwork with all internal partners.
  • Manages benefit programs and delivery of Health, Wellness, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Life/ADD, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, COBRA, FMLA, and Safe Harbor Retirement Plans.
  • Ensures compensation and benefit programs are compliant. Stays abreast of federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Serves as the vendor manager for technology platforms related to employee compensation and benefits, effectively managing and prioritizing resolution of open items, staying abreast of product releases, system enhancements and functionality.
  • Maintains a continuous process improvement mindset with a focus on collaboration with internal teams and vendor partners to support business needs and strategic goals.
  • Measures and reports on compensation and benefits related data to support strategic decision through data visualization (e.g., dashboards, graphs).
  • Serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, changes and enhancements to compensation and benefit programs and systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in managing compensation and benefit programs.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills.

  • Demonstrated experience balancing strategic thinking with analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills across a variety of compensation and benefit programs and business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects, adapt, and prioritize as business needs change.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of compensation and benefit programs.
Location Austin, TX; Miami, FL; or San Diego, CA
This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
