Origins Behavioral Healthcare (OBH)

Provides a comprehensive continuum of individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs and recovery support for adults, including those with co-occurring disorders. Position

The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops and manages daily operations that impact nursing and client care to ensure efficiency and continuity of quality patient care, including financial responsibilities, facility management and all activities relative to staffing, work assignments, hiring/termination, performance reviews, orientation, and professional development.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and participate in all meetings.
• Supervision and management of all nursing staff.
• Scheduling, planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Interview, selection and training of new hires.
• Staff meetings.
• Training and coaching of nursing team including performance management.
• Knowledge of program policies and procedures and develops new policies, as needed.
• Manages compliance with established nursing standards.

Requirements

• Experience in the addiction treatment industry strongly preferred.
• Individual must maintain a current Nursing license from the Board of Nursing.
• Ten (10) years of nursing experience.
• Three (3) years of management experience.
• If in recovery, two (2) years of continuous sobriety is preferred.
