• Prior education /or experience supporting complex networks.
• Ability to problem-solve troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
• Willingness to listen and learn software and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows desktop support
• 1 year or more of experience in technical support, including troubleshooting hardware software issues.
• Hospitality experience a plus.
• Experience with point-of-sale system use and support is preferred.
• Some overnight travel might be required.
• Personal transportation may be required for local in-shop support.

what you'll do

• Identify, diagnose, resolve problems with desktop hardware, applications, networking.
• Set up computer software hardware for new/existing staff, including new user accounts.
• Ensure acceptable performance in computing network systems.
• Receive phone calls directly from restaurants during high call volume periods.
• Identify communicate noticeable trends in installation, hardware, software issues.
• Support all hardware, software order replacement hardware at the Shops.
• Assist in special projects perform additional assignments as directed.
• Recommend process procedure enhancements.
• Utilize ticketing system to communicate thoroughly document issues opportunities.
• Prioritize and manage IT activities monitor success of day-to-day operations.
• Provide remote hands on support to troubleshoot infrastructure issues with ISP’s, firewalls/network, Wi-Fi, phones, fax, printers, camera systems audio/video equipment during business non-business hours.
• Coordinate with various vendors in-shop personnel related to technology implementation, issues overall restaurant technology support.
