We are looking for an exceptional Registered Dietitian to join the team! Ideal candidates are independent, self-directed, team players and client focused with leadership skills. The consultant RD will provide excellent nutrition care at teen wellness centers in Temecula, CA and and also 1:1 virtually. On-site work required for at least 1 hour per week. Willingness to commute to facility is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting nutrition groups to provide dietary education and hands on kitchen skills to adolescent clients
• Motivational interviewing
• Working collaborative with the Interdisciplinary Team
• Nutrition assessment of clients upon admission as deemed appropriate
• Follow up assessments based on clinical appropriateness.
• Developing customized meal plans when applicable
• Communication with adolescents’ parents while providing dietary psycho-education when appropriate.
• Provide facility managers and program directors with recipes for nutrition groups

Experience working with weight management, digestive health disorders and eating disorders is desired.

Knowledge & Education Requirements

• Knowledge of Nutrition Care Process, and standard charting methods for paper and electronic medical records preferred.
• Experience in eating disorder or mental health facilities, clinical dietetics, and some food service background required.
• RD/RDN credentials required as well as professional liability insurance.
