Oregon State Lottery is Hiring a Distribution Specialist - Inventory Near Salem, OR

Do you have experience maintaining warehouse inventory and doing system upkeep? Do you have stellar customer service skills? We are looking for a Limited Duration Distribution Specialist - Inventory to join our team at the Oregon Lottery in Salem, OR.

Although this is Limited Duration position is scheduled for up to two years, this is a great opportunity to get a foot-in-the-door with Lottery's Distribution team!

About the Role

You will report to the Manager of Distribution and Fleet and will assist the Inventory Analyst in the daily operations of inventory activities. You will provide back up for the Distribution Fleet Specialist for fleet operations, distribution, system records and implementation of procedures. You will also provide customer service to Lottery staff; in-house and those in the field.

You Will:

  • Maintain all inventory movements, audits, and accurate record keeping.
  • Help with department standard operating procedures and other documentation.
  • Help with training, instruction, and feedback on inventory and material handling.
  • Provide archive and disposition support of decommissioned units, inventory, and support of warehouses.
  • Ensure new inventory is serialized.
  • Audits stock in all areas, including vans, depots, warehouses, and repair bench.
  • Support and provide back up for fleet operations.
  • Provide back up to all distribution coordinator functions and team lead.

You Have:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree and three (3) years of experience in maintaining warehouse inventory and providing customer service; OR
  • Five (5) years of experience in maintaining warehouse inventory and providing customer service
