$3000 sign-on bonus/$1000 retention bonus

This position is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team and to gain experience in educational settings and clinical environments. The Lead Family Support Interventionist will be provided with a high level of training and support from the SWIFT Clinical Team.

The Lead Family Support Interventionist will provide weekly one-on-one phone and in-person support and coaching to parents participating in the Students with Involved Families and Teachers (SWIFT) program. After the initial training period, this position will expand to include program supervision. Program supervisor duties (case management) will include collaborating with schools, coordinating with collateral agencies, conducting mental health assessments, and supervising a portion of the SWIFT team.

A strong Lead Family Support Interventionist will understand the importance of balancing positive reinforcement of staff with the need for consistent monitoring and will understand the value of warmth and humor in daily interactions. We are seeking someone who is passionate about supporting students in school and are willing to provide extensive training to the right candidate. We have some flexibility around starting dates and hours and can work with someone transitioning from another full-time position or who is close to graduation from a graduate program.

The Lead Family Support Interventionist will follow reporting procedures for situations including abuse, harm to self, and other risk to clients. Will participate in 24-hour rotating on-call availability for supervision of counselors, including but not limited to the management of behavioral crises and conducting risk assessments. Will complete session documentation; travel to clients’ homes, schools, or communities to complete sessions; and adhere to a curriculum and intervention plan. Will attend and participate in weekly group and individual supervision.
