Position Summary
Serves as the coordinator for services to children enrolled in Early Head Start Child Care Programs; including recruitment, enrollment, and selection of EHS-CC children. Provides program case management services to children and families that include health, social services, family literacy, and parent education in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, federal and state regulations. Leads Case Management Team meetings for staff and parents. Assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of parent related activities at the center level. Organizes and maintains central filing system for child and family records and maintains confidentiality.
Education And Experience Requirements
BS/BA in health or social work/services WITH 3 years of working directly with low-income families in an early childhood setting or home visiting OR AS/AA or higher in in any field with coursework equivalent to a major relating to health, social work/services, sociology, psychology, family studies, counseling, family development, family systems theory, or human resources development WITH 5 years of working directly with low-income families in an early childhood setting or home visiting OR One year of college with coursework equivalent to a major relating to health, social work/services, sociology, psychology, family studies, counseling, family development, family systems theory, or human resources development WITH 7 years of working directly with low-income families in an early childhood setting or home visiting
