As an Adoption Resource Consultant Social Worker with Orchards Children’s Services, you will use leadership skills to see that research based child specific recruitment plans are developed to help children in Michigan's Foster Care system find their forever family. The Adoption Resource Consultant works to provide support and recruitment specific activities for children to develop durable lifelong connections with a forever family. While providing Adoption Resource Consultant services you will collaborate with Foster Care, Adoption and all other professionals working with each child. Using respect and empathy, you’ll deliver child-specific recruitment ideas and strength based services directly to children who are awaiting an adoptive family, many with trauma histories. While collaborating in the recruitment process, you will see that the focus is on building permanency with lifelong families for children. Education Requirements

Bachelors in Social Work or related field, Masters degree preferred.

- Good communication skills, verbal and written

- Knowledge of computers and technology to complete documentation /work related tasks
