Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Orchard, NY

Orchard Park Veterinary Center (OPVMC) is a premier 24/7 veterinary hospital.

The Client Services department is searching for candidates to join our team. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming clients and getting them checked in/out
  • Answering and directing phone calls and client inquiries
  • Scheduling appointments according to our guidelines
  • Processing invoices and payments
  • Creating and upkeeping client/patient accounts and records
  • Detailed documentation
  • Providing top-tier client services!

Skills and characteristics required to be successful in this position include:

  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new management software
  • Empathy and compassion
  • Communicating in a clear and concise manner
  • Productive and Accurate
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Engaging and supporting clients as individuals with friendliness and professionalism
  • **2 years of customer service experience required**

The full-time position will entail 4 10-hour shifts, which will include one weekend shift. We are currently seeking mid-day/evening team members. Incentivizing shift differentials are offered during non-regular working hours.

We are seeking the right fit not only for the position, but the right fit for our team and our purpose; always the patient's advocate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
