Job description

Orano USA LLC is seeking a Business System Analyst II/III to provide application support to system users and are the functional subject matter expert for all Deltek products; contribute to developing and leading teams across all business units process performed as part of Corporate Finance Shared Service Center.
The Business System Analyst II/III will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
  • Financial systems application support, monitoring and maintenance (Costpoint, DEltek T&E, TimeAde, Shop Floor Time, Blackline reconciliation tool, Cognos, others) including associated applications and interfaces (ie: Ultipro and Payroll)
  • Serve as “Super User” for all Deltek products and provide guidance on best utilization of software o meet requirements, as well as provide explanation and troubleshooting support to end users in response to helpdesk tickets
  • Point of contact with Deltek Support and TBS on Costpoint defects, upgrades and enhancements. Provide technical assistance to resolve user errors, problems, and questions.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of new enterprise-wide business process models involving Costpoint, DeltekT&E and Cognos; identify and implement improvements to existing processes
  • Proficient working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) on Oracle database (which is needed when there are issues with Deltek products)
  • Develop and execute testing plans and document the results for management
  • Develop and maintain data models and reports in the Cognos (CER) reporting environment per user requirements; troubleshoot and resolve report issues. Customize and maintain Cognos portals.
  • Manage time utilization to ensure that tasks are completed on or ahead of schedule
  • Weekly timesheet and payroll process
  • Employee Timesheet Audits
  • General Ledger account reconciliations
  • Responsible for Leave, Wages Payable and the Pool recons
  • New hires and terminations (work with HR)
  • Monitor and ensure the successful completion of scheduled Process Management jobs for weekly and month-end closing activities in the system
  • Strong understanding of business processes in accounting
  • Assist with internal audit requirements
  • Adhoc as assigned by direct manager

Ideal qualifications

Skills/ Knowledge Required:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
3. Demonstrated knowledge / experience with Deltek systems and key business processes (finance, controlling, supply chain, project systems, production / maintenance) and/or systems analysis.
4. Strong negotiation skills.
5. Experience or ability to drive meetings in an international environment.
6. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
7. Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related degree, or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus a minimum of 4 years of related work experience. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience
