OrangeRoc is a full-service marketing and creative studio based in Honolulu, Hawaii serving clients both locally and on the mainland. We produce marketing, design, and advertising that communicates one concise message across all mediums.

Job Summary:

The role of a Marketing Coordinator is, generally, to provide support to the marketing team in the day-to-day management of client accounts. The Marketing Assistant will report directly the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs.

Duties:

  • Provide support to Marketing Manager.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Organize online and traditional media with detailed record-keeping of the account activity
  • Develop agendas, proposals, correspondence and other materials relating to account service.
  • Provides administration and assistance on day-to-day activities for clients, including responding to client phone calls, handling mail/packages, production and creative deadlines, media placements, record-keeping of the accounts, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.
  • Prepares for client presentations.
  • Issues pertinent project lists, status reports, production schedules as warranted, etc. through in-house project management system.
  • Gather, assemble, and analyze background information to develop briefs, provide scholarly references in copy, and research competitive media.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of Marketing Manager’s activities
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Compose and post online content for social media and websites.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • High Level of analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with managing SEO, marketing databases, email, social media, display advertising campaigns, and/or additional digital marketing tools
  • Experience utilizing file management softwares and/or platforms (i.e dropbox, SharePoint, Google Drive)
  • Outgoing Personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
  • Team player

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  • College graduate 4-yr or equivalent in business or marketing
  • 1-3 years work experience
  • Clerical and supervisory/administrative experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
