PTs will assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop teaching plans to meet them. We are seeking those who enjoy working with a bright and dedicated multi-disciplinary team that focuses on life-long learning.RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Physical Therapy Service in all placements across the Districts.
Provide progress reports for students as a result of therapeutic intervention.
Provide Physical therapy screenings and consultation services to determine need for evaluation.
Provide screenings, initial evaluations, and re- evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for occupational therapy service.
Attend professional meetings and IEP Meetings to consult with parents, students, and school personnel.
Provide professional training for school-based and District personnel.
Provide training for parents and family members on techniques that they can implement at home for student.
Skills/CertificationsProven experience as an Physical Therapist
Thorough knowledge of therapy best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
