Randolph Union Middle High School is located in the heart of Vermont and serves the communities of Braintree, Brookfield, and Randolph, VT as well as many other communities that have school choice and choose RU as their middle high school. We are seeking an Associate Principal: Dean of Student Experiences to join our team. An ideal candidate will have a strong belief that every student can succeed and will be a collaborative problem solver in addition to: An ability to develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with students, staff, and familiesAbility to collaboratively plan and implement professional development to promote understanding and implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (through an equity lens) as well as trauma informed practice and community developmentDemonstrate a strong facilitation skill set that includes effective communication, collaboration, and engagement strategies to develop greater understanding and a sense of communityAbility to hold students accountable for their behavior through restorative practices and more traditional discipline practicesAbility to facilitate student leadership groups and foster a sense of purpose and belonging among our student populationA willingness to collaborate with a variety of audiences and take feedback from those audiences to inform work within a strong distributive leadership environmentHold or be eligible to hold a Vermont Educator Licence with a Principal endorsementIf you are passionate about student success, and are interested in being a part of a middle high school community and district level community of like minded people, please apply.
