Blue Mountain Union School, located in Wells River, Vermont is seeking to hire a Middle School Language Arts Teacher (grades 7 & 8) starting with the 2024-2025 school year. The Middle School Language Arts Teacher is responsible for creating a flexible middle level Language Arts program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. The teacher will work to establish effective rapport with students, to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education in accordance with each students ability, and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. Knowledge of standards-based and/or proficiency-based instruction and assessments is preferred, but not required.
