Oxbow Middle/High School, located in Bradford, Vermont is seeking to hire a middle/high school math teacher starting with the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Middle School and/or High School Math Teacher is responsible for creating a flexible middle level and/or high school level program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.Primary Job Function: The teacher will work to establish effective rapport with students, to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education in accordance with each students ability, and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. Knowledge of standards-based and/or proficiency-based teaching and assessments is preferred.
A solid content background in mathematics is essential and the ability to teach a wide variety of topics and levels of mathematics is required.
