Orange East Supervisory Union is Hiring an Assistant Superintendent for Student Support & Operations Near Bradford, VT
Orange East Supervisory Union, which encompasses Bradford Elementary School, Blue Mountain Union School, Newbury Elementary School, Oxbow Middle/High School, River Bend Career and Technical Center, Thetford Elementary School, and Waits River Valley School, is seeking to hire an Assistant Superintendent for Student Support & Operations, starting July 1, 2024. This is a full-time (261 day) position which is partially grant funded for the 2024-2025 school year. The Assistant Superintendent of Student Support and Operations is an organizational leader who is responsible for the coordination and implementation of effective organizational systems preK-12 to meet student needs and drive student learning; the development and sustainment of a healthy district climate and culture; the planning, coordination, and communication of facility maintenance schedules and capital improvements; the mining and sharing of district data across all domains to inform strategic decision-making; the realization of multi-faceted special projects at the direction of the Superintendent; the implementation of the policies, procedures, and regulations; and the building of leadership capacity among the administrative team to promote a safe and connected learning environment for all students and staff that results in high levels of growth and learning.A complete job description for this position is available on the OESU website (https://www.oesu.org/) under Human Resources - Administration or by contacting hrpayroll@oesu.org To apply for this position, interested candidates need to submit a cover letter, resume, three current letters of recommendation, transcripts (undergraduate and graduate - unofficial copies are acceptable), proof of Vermont licensure as a Superintendent (3-90) or proof of eligibility for licensure and PRAXIS (or the equivalent) test scores (if applicable).
