Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging and comprehensive U S History curriculum for students
- Implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote critical thinking skills
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
Requirements:
- Valid teaching certification in Social Studies (U.S. History) or a relevant subject area is a plus
- Strong copy editing and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of varying abilities
- Creative writing skills for developing engaging lesson plans and materials
- Knowledge of higher education teaching methods and strategies
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Experience in academic advising or education administration is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 per week
