Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist (No Certification Required)

Part-time Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist position available at cardiac electrophysiology office in Huntington Beach. Great opportunity for Pre-Med/Pre-Health graduates looking for clinical experience! We are looking for a Spanish speaking or Vietnamese speaking candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, answer phone calls, and take messages
• Schedule appointments and patient follow-ups
• Prepare rooms for examination and ensure supplies are available and ready
• Schedule procedures and examinations
• Measuring and recording patient vitals and EKG
• Assisting with cardiac device interrogations
• Communicating with insurance companies regarding coverage questions
• Obtaining and handling medical records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• No medical assistant certification required
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Some prior medical experience preferred, but training will be provided
• Vietnamese or Spanish is a PLUS!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
