Orange Avenue Surgery Center located in Orlando, Florida is looking for qualified Part-Time and Per Diem Endoscopy Technicians for our new Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in GI.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the RN, provides selected care for patients for Endoscopic procedures and assists with the preparation/processing of equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares the Endo Procedure room and ensures it is ready for each case
• Assist physician in the procedure room with Endoscopic cases
• Selects, assembles, tests, and operates equipment and instruments in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
• Handles and prepares specimens obtained during the procedure in a timely manner and in accordance with policy and procedure.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Accredited Technical School
• Minimum of 2 years as an Endoscopy Technician experience is required.
