Our corporate office is seeking a highly motivated Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, is eager to learn, and enjoys helping other team members and staying productive.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit claims to insurances and governmental agencies.
• Follow up on delinquent/outstanding insurance claims in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve discrepancies, denials, and appeals on all accounts.
• Submit and obtain prior-authorizations for procedures and services

• Performs other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of Medical Billing Experience preferred
• Organizational Skills
• Strong written and verbal skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
