The Oracle MySQL North America Business Unit is looking for a results-driven Account Executive to sell MySQL within our Northern California region.

Many of the world's largest and fastest-growing organizations rely on MySQL to save time and money developing, deploying, and managing business-critical MySQL applications.

In addition, over 2000 ISVs, OEMs, and VARs rely on MySQL as their products' embedded database to make their applications, hardware and appliances more competitive and bring them to market faster.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include capturing new customers, delivering growth and ensuring retention from the existing customer base.

What You Will Do

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives.
• Prospect, qualify, develop and manage a robust pipeline of forecasted opportunities.
• Develop and execute against a account / territory plan to meet and exceed quota
• Collaborate and work with various cross-functional teams to manage the sales cycle
• Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-6 years of direct field experience selling software or IT solutions. Familiarity with databases, DevOps and open source technology a plus.
• BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.

US : Hiring Range : from $ to $ per hour; from $69,600 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50 / 50.
