Oracle is Hiring a Lead Client Sales Executive - Oracle Health / Western Canada Near Canada, KY

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience including 9 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Position Overview:

Oracle Health is looking for a motivated Senior Healthcare Executive to help drive sales strategy and business development growth with targeted key accounts in the Western Region of Canada. This position will work closely with the Director of Sales, Canada and in partnership with regional leadership and go-to-market teams. This individual will be responsible to help build strategic partnerships, assist in M&A strategies, business development, and manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiate, close business and manage ongoing relationship with clients. The successful candidate will be passionate about driving sales, possess a strong need be able to demonstrate that s/he is responsive, adaptable, results, and ownership oriented.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive and lead sales strategy and go-to-market plan for new solutions and services to meet sales goals for a defined territory and new footprint clients.
  • Manage sales process with prospective clients and government stakeholders at an executive (C-level) level including proposal (RFI/RFP) responses, meetings, communication and deliverables as primary sales point of contact for the region.
  • Conduct lead generation activities to grow sales pipeline for assigned territory and perform market and competitive research to contribute to client specific sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client decision makers through consistent engagement and support, facilitate education for clients on Cerner solutions and services, and create sales proposals that address the specific needs of the client organization.
  • Drive contract negotiations and manage pipeline and forecast to drive sales opportunities to closure against a sales quota.
  • Work in collaboration with cross-functional, go-to-market team in region to drive holistic growth strategy and sales delivery and execution as planned for territory.
  • Build sales pipeline by identifying opportunities for existing Oracle Health portfolio as well as positioning broader Oracle offerings such as OCI and Fusion.
  • Execute on a multi-million-dollar sales plan.
  • Oversee all sales engagement in territory with clients to achieve consistency in strategy, messaging and quality of interaction.
  • The ability to work across and with several engaged teams to shape, pursue and drive sales strategy and strategic relationships with client and government is critical.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • 10 or more years of healthcare sales and/or consulting experience with at least 6 years of sales experience
  • High energy, self-starter mentality.
  • Leadership experience – ability to lead large internal and external teams.
  • Proven track record managing and securing large, complex sales opportunities.
  • Client management sales experience.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Displays strong client orientation skills.
  • Strategic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Has superior communication skills to execute complex sales cycles and provide clarity to any problem resolution situation.
  • Cerner experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% time.
  • Bachelor-level academic degree.
