SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and maintaining financial reports, records, forecasting and operations as well as ensuring compliance and accuracy with regulations of State and Federal laws specific to Arizona Public School Finance to assure the District operates within all legal boundaries. Work closely with Superintendent, other administrators, supervisors and departments to develop and execute strategic plans and budgets that align with the organization's financial goals, Vision and Mission statements.
Lead the Oracle School District towards financial success and long-term stability through oversight of all financial activity such as purchasing, accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, deposits, quarterly reporting, professional development, internal audit, fixed assets and treasury functions and others as listed.

Utilizing multiple resources available to research to find financial solutions and answers from Arizona Department of Education, Auditor General’s Office, AASBO Group and others and maintain training with each
Strong analytical, technical, strategic and logical thinking skills and ability to multi task with strong time management
Maintain a professional relationship and communication building with District staff, the general public, financial agencies and vendors
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or related field, and 3 to 5 years of managerial accounting experience, preferably in a governmental setting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill and ability as the Governing Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
