OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Assembler to perform limited electronic and electromechanical production assembly and assembly operations of repetitive nature to build up and assemble routine units.
Responsibilities:
  • Use small hand tools such as soldering irons and tweezers under microscope.
  • Works with epoxy and other chemicals.
  • Operates from assembly drawings, diagrams, blueprints or previously established methods.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of component identification desired.
  • Ability to understand Assembly drawings desired.
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using English language.
