Within Optiver, the Financial Systems Team is dedicated to maintaining and optimizing financial applications for the CFO functions, including the new global S2P tool, Coupa. We are now seeking to expand our team with a dedicated Coupa Specialist. This role involves the global rollout, management, and advancement of our Coupa platform, a critical component of our procurement and financial systems in a fast-paced and international business setting.

What you'll do:
As the Coupa Specialist at Optiver, you will take ownership of our Coupa platform. Located in our Chicago office and working alongside global teams, you will be pivotal in consolidating financial data into a unified, trusted source, thereby empowering CFO functions globally to achieve their strategic goals through well-maintained, secure, and scalable technology. This role is ideal for individuals who possess profound knowledge of Coupa and are keen to expand their expertise across other systems. Candidates should be enthusiastic about applying and broadening their skills in a dynamic and international environment at Optiver.

• Take full ownership of the Coupa platform, ensuring its optimal functionality, addressing any system issues promptly, and ensuring it meets all operational needs effectively.
• Take a leading role in the functional aspects of the global rollout of Coupa within Optiver, guiding the deployment and integration across various departments and international offices.
• Lead initiatives to develop and optimize the Coupa system, strengthening its position as a robust global platform, and participating in the development of additional financial systems.
• Serve as the U.S.-based point of contact for other financial system queries within Optiver, providing expertise and support for diverse financial systems, ensuring seamless operation and synergy within the global financial systems team.
• Develop, document, and enforce policies, procedures, and reports that guarantee the effectiveness, accuracy, and compliance of our financial systems, with a focus on auditability.
• Actively engage in user support, offering training and communication to enhance system understanding and usage.

Who you are:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Coupa, ideally in an administrative or consultancy capacity.
• You have a genuine interest in a variety of financial systems and their integration, understanding the importance of interconnected systems in achieving comprehensive, efficient solutions.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in (Business) Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in various Coupa modules, including procurement, invoicing, and expenses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously.
• Deep understanding of business processes, user requirements, design, and process flows.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment on a global scale.
