Lab Technician job summary
Our fast-paced drug testing laboratory is currently seeking to hire a Lab Technician. The successful candidate will perform various tasks including specimen collection, specimen accessioning, input of billing information, send-outs, sample preparation and data analysis for mass spectrometry and the maintenance of drug testing records. Lab Technician responsibilities
- Receive samples and accession in laboratory information system
- Sample preparation and data analysis for mass spectrometry
- Extraction
- Quality Control
- Input billing information
- Prepare samples for testing
- Label specimens accurately
- Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Clean and maintain work area
- Scan documents for permanent storage
- Assist with labeling and miscellaneous tasks
Lab Technician skills/requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical science field
- Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Able to easily understand complex instructions
- Able and willing to maintain strict level of confidentiality regarding laboratory results and records
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
Benefit Conditions:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
