$5,000 HIRING BONUS (Prorated by FTE)
Hours: Monday – Friday normal business hours; includes an on-call rotation and occasionally work outside of normal business hours.
Overview
This position provides both client desktop, and server system support. In this position, you would provide prompt resolution, or escalation, of application, hardware and/or system issues.
Requires the ability to provide support via phone, email, face-to-face, and remote desktop, while troubleshooting, repairing, installing, patching, testing, etc.
Responsibilities
Work independently and problem solve with little or no supervision, as well as ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Provide support via phone, email, face-to-face, and remote desktop, while troubleshooting, repairing, installing, patching, testing, etc.
Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for complex network issues and conducts various research and analysis regarding new technology, network traffic, potential security risk, etc.
Identify and define business or technical requirements applied to the design, development, implementation, management and support of LAN/WAN environments
Drive company vehicle regularly to offices and facilities in Josephine and Jackson County.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Information Systems or related field. Understanding of workplace environment and expectations.
Must possess strong trouble-shooting abilities related to informational technology related matters. Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective written, verbal and listening communications skills. Possess excellent customer relations skills and work well with diverse groups.
Experience or education in the following technologies:
Ability to lift and/or move various computer equipment and peripheral devices weighing up to 25lbs.
Must pass state-required background and DMV checks; Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.
