Job Coach / Vocational Counselor - Part to Full Time positions - work directly with one or a small group of student/s in school and in a variety of community based settings to assist the students developing competitive skills to meet academic / transitional / vocational goals. Staff actively engage, inspire and assist students in developing their sense of value and belonging in Options and their community.

DUTIES Included;
* Facilitating students engagement in the learning process at community based job sites, colleges, certificate program and volunteer settings.
* Assuming responsibility for implementation of goals, support plans, teaching strategies, and reporting requirements.
* Assisting student’s self-discovery of their abilities and challenges and collaboratively develop methods to improve the students’ performance.
* Representing Options in a manner that promotes positive community sentiment and engages community partners in the process of developing students.
* Communicating with job site supervisors to understand the requirements of the job and work environment. * * Modeling and assisting the student developing soft skills, technical skills and social skills on community based sites.
* Actively collaborating in Options interdisciplinary team process.
* Helping students make positive personal choices.
* Providing transportation training as needed.
* Assisting the student learning about and accessing proper medical care and community based safety practices.
* Actively providing a positive helpful demeanor with coworkers and other students.
* Proactively maintaining cleanliness and order within Options school and vehicles.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
College preferred and/or industry related trainings or experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Clean driving record and eligible for or currently possess a Class V endorsement on driver’s license.
