Job Summary:
Our client is actively seeking a skilled Database Technical Expert to join our dynamic team, specializing in customizations and database migration. This role plays a critical part in managing data models for price engine data, overseeing customization changes, and facilitating seamless database migrations. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of migration strategies while ensuring data integrity and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage effective database models for price engine data and business requirements.
• Oversee customization changes and contribute to the development of new databases.
• Develop and implement data cleansing strategies for maintaining data quality during migration.
• Execute continuous migration of data between two systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of a robust data warehouse strategy for enhanced data management.
• Ensure strict adherence to data governance and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with various teams within IT and across the business to gather requirements and ensure database models meet business needs.
• Address any issues that arise during the migration and cleansing processes promptly.
• Thoroughly document all changes, models, and strategies for future reference and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management, with a focus on data migration and modeling.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing database migration strategies.
• Experience in Data Cleansing, Data management, database technologies, and SQL Queries.
• Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management systems; Endur experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
