Medical practice is seeking to hire a full-time X-ray technician who will assist with triaging patients and patient follow-up. The ideal candidate should have the ability to multitask while working in a very busy office and be a strong team player and display compassionate care toward patients.

Responsible for preparing patients for X-rays and educating them on the process, taking X-rays of patients as directed, maintaining X-ray equipment and maintenance schedule, and maintaining inventory and other X-ray supplies.

Measuring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight,

and height Instructing patients on medication administration, diet, exercise, and other physician-directed orders

Keeping accurate patient records and ensuring that all related reports, information, and lab results are filed and organized with their patient records

Keeping exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and instruments

Preparing and cleaning examination rooms between patients

Answering phone calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies

Calling in prescriptions and prescription refills

minimum one year experience EMR Experience (eClinicalWorks)

Education: High School diploma.

Current Certification as an X-ray technician.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00-5:30. Reliability is significantly important since we are a small office.

Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Annual flu shots are also required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
