Optimize Generator People is Hiring an Operations Office Support Team Near Baton Rouge, LA

Our business is installing, servicing & repairing Generac generators for homeowners. We are Louisianan's largest home generator dealership. We are a stable growing business who has been in business for 14 years.

We are looking to add a new member to our Operations Support Team. This person would start by assisting others in the organization as they run the daily administrative operations of the company. The office energy is fast paced, and the workload can vary throughout the year. We take our quality of work and ability to work as a team very seriously.

The ideal candidate would enjoy the challenge of solving problems with the team and be able to rise to the occasion when needed. This person will need to be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers over the phone to help complete installation processes or direct them to the best team member to resolve the request.
  • Actively work to complete projects placed under your control.
  • Resolve customer concerns with patience and empathy.
  • Perform data entry to create & update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Organize your office and assist other team members in an efficient manner.
  • Work with utility companies to schedule parts of the installation process.
  • Maintain our high level of phone etiquette and communicate professionally under pressure.

Skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of basic office procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Job Scheduling programs would be great but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 43 per week
