Job Description:

We are seeking a Spanish speaking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing routine care for patients, observing patients' health and progress throughout treatment, and assisting physicians and registered nurses.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage patient care according to each patient's needs.
• Interview patients and record their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Review medical charts.
• Accompany patients to their rooms.
• Communicate with patients and their families.
• Perform standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepare specimens for lab courier.
• Administer medications.
• Provide wound care.
• Monitor catheters.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Assist with patient comfort.

Qualifications:

• Spanish Speaking
• Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology
• Ability and willingness to drive / commute
• Be familiar with Kinnser software
