About the Position:

Optimal is looking for a PTA who holds a passion for improving patients’ quality of life in the comfort of their placement. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is a technical health care worker who performs selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Pay: $39-46 per visit

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduated from a physical therapist assistant (PTA) curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or has passed a national examination for physical therapist assistants (PTA).
  • Must currently hold a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license of good standing in the state of Colorado.
  • Must be able to communicate in the language of the client and document client related activity as appropriate.
  • Possesses adequate and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferably One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Preferably Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience in the Home Health Care / Home Care Setting
