Optimal Facility Management Solutions, LLC ("OFMS"), a managed institutional commodities firm, seeks a Renewable Energy Director to spearhead the development of utility-scale renewable projects within the PJM territory.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage wind and/or solar projects within the PJM market, and in the future, ERCOT and SPP markets
• Lead development activities across all stages of projects
• Identify development prospects through market assessments, fatal flaw identification, and initial site reconnaissance
• Secure site control for development prospects by negotiating leases, easements, and other agreements with landowners
• Play a leading role in obtaining necessary permits from local, state, and federal authorities
• Represent OFMS to customers, landowners, state and local officials, and other stakeholders
• Initiate and oversee generation interconnection activities
• Supervise project design
• Manage tasks in accordance with budgets and schedules, including the coordination of internal and external technical support

REQUIRED SKLLS

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years' experience in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering
• Excellent organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and accounting skills
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication
• Ability to write effective and concise reports
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites

Salary: DOE
