Dietician is responsible for assessing the nutritional care of the residents in the facility. He/she advises Administation and Food Service Director as needed all clinical aspects of the Food Service Department. 

Responsibilities:

• Assess the nutritional status of residents includive of: lab value interpretation, consumption pattern, weight maintenance, food/drug interaction, dietary compliance;
• Performs assessment routine;
• Addressess appropriate nutritional concerns with all members of the nutrition support team;
• Give diet instruction for specific resident and families; 
• Reviews resident care plans.

Requirement:

• Registered dietician with previous experience in a long term health setting or previous experience as a consulting dietician.
• Experience with geriatric population is preferred.
• Basic computer skills. 
• Experience in menu writing with therapeutic extensions and extensive experience in patient assessment skills.
