Optim Health System is Hiring a Contracts and Compliance Specialist Near Reidsville, GA

Optim Health System is seeking a full time Contracts and Compliance Specialist for our Savannah location.

This is an on-site position, candidate must live within driving distance from the office in Savannah, GA.

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for day to day oversight and integrity of contracting processes. Works with management and legal and compliance department as needed to review contract processes and recommend improvements.
  • Organizes and maintains a centralized contract database of all contracts.
  • Oversees ongoing monitoring and auditing of contracts to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Works with legal and compliance to plan audits, develop audit reports and action plans related to contracting matters.
  • Collaborates with management and legal and compliance to develop, implement, and monitor ongoing compliance education related to contracts management.
  • Promotes contracting compliance by working with others in auditing, advising and assisting in the development of additional contracting policies and procedures as required.
  • Prepares and presents reports and other communications related to contracts management compliance.
  • Serves as a contracts compliance resource to the organization.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education I Accreditation I Licensure:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Preferred field of study: business finance, law, health care administration or other related health care field.
  • Paralegal accreditation preferred.

Experience (required and preferred):

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in contracts administration preferred.
  • Experience in physician contracting preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding physician self-referral and fraud and abuse.
