Cable Installer

Requirements:

Must have a pick up truck or cargo van that is less than 10 years old and white in color.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Duties:

- Install and maintain cable systems for residential and commercial customers
- Perform site surveys to determine the best installation routes and methods
- Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic cables
- Test and troubleshoot cable systems to ensure proper functionality
- Install and configure equipment such as modems, routers, and set-top boxes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of electrical and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with mechanical principles and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Note: Prior experience as a cable installer or in a related field is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
