OpTech LLC is Hiring an Installation technician Near Williamsburg, VA
Looking for a motivated technician with experience installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems. We offer excellent compensation, benefits and training.
Requirements :
- Three years installing / troubleshooting structured cabling systems (Cat5 / 6, Fiber, Patch Panels, 110 / 66-Blocks, 25-Pairs, Building racks, ladder rack, grounding / bonding)
- Applicable Industry trainings - BICSI Installer / Technician, Panduit, Ortronics or equivalent
- Experience with audio / video and / or security / surveillance is a plus
- Computer and networking experience
- Own basic industry tools
- Reliable Vehicle with valid driver license
- Professional appearance with friendly, responsive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile
- Ability to pass background check and become DCJS licensed
- Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to all the safety protocols.
- Must have applicable experience OR demonstrate very good motivation to learn.
HQ in Williamsburg. Sites in Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond.
