Position Overview

OptConnect is seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer to join our marketing team in Kaysville, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling branding and marketing materials to support our business goals. Reporting to the Creative Services and Demand Generation Manager, you will collaborate with our team to create impactful designs across various channels. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, is creative and passionate, communicates effectively, is proficient in design software and is looking for a company with a thriving company culture where they can establish roots and build a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout marketing materials for various channels such as social media, print, tradeshows, video, email marketing, and sales support.
• Develop visual solutions for marketing challenges, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology to enhance creative output.
• Coordinate with printing and promotional partners to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Contribute to the creative strategy of the organization.
• Assist with other Marketing projects as needed.
• Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify complex concepts.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot design issues.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry-standard software and tools for design and production.
• Knowledge of production processes and file preparation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take creative direction, constructive feedback and iterate on designs accordingly.

Preferred

• 2 years of professional marketing design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing
• Experience with photography
• Experience in web design (Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design principles)
• Experience with marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Wordpress, ad platforms)
