Maintenance Tech / Floor Care Tech

Job Description:

The Maintenance Tech / Floor Care is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility's floors. This includes sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors as needed. The Maintenance Tech / Floor Care will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance issues related to the floors, such as cracks or damage, and coordinating repairs with the appropriate personnel.

In addition to floor care, the Maintenance Tech will also be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks throughout the facility, such as changing light bulbs, repairing plumbing fixtures, and painting walls. The Maintenance Tech will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that the facility is kept in good repair and that all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in floor care and general maintenance
• Ability to operate floor care equipment, such as buffers and waxers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with other staff and residents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending and kneeling.

• Prior experience working in a healthcare or senior living facility, IS A PLUS!
